Greeting Instructions
To change the recording of your name or greeting:
Call (212) 792-9972, or dial your mobile phone number and let Talk2Us answer the call. Then, say 'change my personal options' (or press 5).
Then say either 'record my name (or press 1) or 'record a greeting' (or press 2).
If you record a greeting, it will automatically be used. If you want to switch back to the standard greeting, just record your name, and when asked if you want to switch back to a standard greeting, say 'yes.'
What Your Callers Will Hear
If you have recorded a personal greeting, your callers will hear: "[Your greeting]. Your message will be transcribed, so please speak clearly."
If not, your callers will hear: "You've reached the Talk2Us assistant for [your name]. Your message will be transcribed, so please speak clearly."
Sample Usage
Talk2Us: What would you like to do?
User: Change my personal options
Talk2Us: Which personal option did you want to change--did you want record your name, or record a greeting?
User: Record a greeting
Talk2Us: Go ahead and record your personal greeting.
User: [records greeting]
Talk2Us: Would you like to save it, hear it, or rerecord it?
User: Save it.
Talk2Us: Greeting saved.
