Viewing and Responding to Calls
When a new call comes in to your cell phone and you don't answer, the Talk2Us desktop application will show the call as it progresses.
The call will appear as a highlighted red pane in your list of messages:
The call event history will show whether the caller is leaving a message.
Before or while the caller is leaving their message, you can click
to type a message for them, or
to call them. These will be placed as a new call to the person calling you.
Reviewing and Responding to Messages
As soon as the caller hangs up, the pane will turn gray; if they left a message it will appear. You can click the play button to listen to the message.
The transcription should appear within a few minutes.
Message Actions
You can click
to reply with a message for them,
to call them now,
to set a callback reminder, or
to delete the message. You can also click an underlined phone number to place a call to that number.
Expanding older messages
By default, only your most recent messages will load showing their full contents. Remaining messages will show up only in a brief single line:
Click any message to expand it.
